PROCESSIONAL CANOPY IN STUNNING GOLD AND FLORAL PATTERN ITALIAN FABRIC
This beautiful canopy was a new design for Corpus Christi, 2019. It sold to a parish in the Bronx! However, I can sew one for you. The fabric is rich and beautiful.
Crafted from high quality gold shade fabric with lovely vine and floral pattern as the photos show. The gold of the fabric has a very beautiful sheen to it, which the photos do not all show.
CANOPY MEASURES: 54" wide x 61" in length.
The ROOF of the canopy is made from the same quality gold fabric. The pattern side of the fabric is facing inwards (i.e. downwards into the canopy when hoisted), to provide a rich pattern on the inside roof when viewed against the burgundy lined side panels. The reverse side of the gold fabric (i.e. facing skywards), shows a striped pattern as seen in the photos, but there is no way to avoid this, and the top of the roof is not viewed during a procession.
SIDE PANELS: 15" deep including the fringing.
The Side Panels are lined in a rich burgundy pure silk lining.
The canopy will have strong loops and tie tapes on all four corners (yet to be added).
ROD POCKETS are attached to the roof sides lengthwise, for hoisting on a pole frame. Please contact me if you need an explanation of how this system works. Basically, there are two poles on either side of the Canopy, which in turn are each attached to the four main carrying poles via chain. European canopy manufacturers use this system also.
